It is a sight to behold when the golden lights of the sun hit the peak of Kanchenjunga. * On the way back from Tiger Hill you will visit the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Ghoom monastery is one of the main monasteries in Darjeeling belonging to the Gelukpa or the Yellow Hat sect of Buddhism and is famous for its 15 feet statue of Maitreya Buddha. Batasia Loop is one of the picturesque points known for its uphill heritage train track.
